RUSH is the time when a young woman scouts out the sororities at the school that she is attending. The RUSH period ranges from five days to about a week or so. This is the time that one should get to know each sorority on campus. Each sorority has a unique character to them and not all of them are the same.
Some people always wonder what Greek life on campus is all about. This is the perfect time to satisfy your curiosity. At the end of the RUSH period, your pledge period begins depending on which sorority you decide is right for you.
Take the time to get to know us. Whether you choose Gamma Beta Delta or another organization, take the time to get to know everyone. It is a big decision and the memories will last you a lifetime.

Here are a few reasons why many of our sisters decided to Pledge...
* The atmosphere of GBD is comfortable and relaxed. Everyone here says that they feel right at home from the minute they become a sister. Many of our sisters have joined because our sisters are never unapproachable. If you are having a problem you can always come to us for help.
* Life-Long Friendships - You will form friendships that last forever due to the bond of sisterhood that we share with each other.
* Diversity - We pride ourselves on maintaining diversity of religious, political, and ethnic groups. It just makes life more interesting!
* Democratic Power - Every week, we have meetings and vote on important matters that deal with every aspect of the sorority. Here, sisters can voice opinions and be heard - it's true that one person can make a difference.
* Chances for Responsibility - There are many positions in GBD which will help to prepare you for the responsibility you will face in the real world. New sisters, especially freshmen are encouraged to run for positions.
